Mira Kapoor’s First Pregnancy Experience: Shahid Kapoor and Mira Kapoor had an arranged marriage in the year 2015. The couple is the parents of two children. They have a daughter Misha and a son Zain. Recently, Mira Kapoor has talked about her first pregnancy. She has told how she could have had a miscarriage and she narrowly escaped losing her first child.
In an interview with YouTube channel Prakhar’s Pravachan, Meera said that when she got pregnant for the first time, she was only 21 years old. She said- ‘When I was four months pregnant, I almost had a miscarriage. When I came back and got the sonography done, the doctor told me to lie down right now. Because I had gone to change my clothes, when I came back, the doctor was sitting there, Shahid was sitting there and they were looking at me in a very strange way.’
Mira and Shahid could have lost their child at any moment
Meera further said- ‘The doctor said I want to talk to you but you cannot sit, please lie down. Because he said my dilation has already happened and I am only four months pregnant. So it is like you can lose your baby at any moment so you need to go to the hospital now and then I will have to undergo a procedure and take bed rest for three months.’
Meera was in the hospital for two and a half months
Mira further said that she was admitted in the hospital for three months and due to this, her mental health was affected after two and a half months. Talking about Shahid, Mira says, ‘He could see that this was having a very bad effect on me mentally. So we went back home, my whole family came to meet me. They surprised me and I became so happy that I started having contractions.’
Misha’s birth was described as a ‘miracle’
Meera further told that when she gave birth to her first child, Misha, the doctor told her that she should thank God because Misha’s birth was no less than a miracle.
